Co-founded in 2019 by Brica Wilcox and Samantha Roth, Niche Gallery’s aim is to provide a small platform for inquisitive artists to make work for, and in response to. Located in a wall niche in a home in Los Angeles, Niche Gallery was inspired by the architecture of the home, and limitations set by the economics of living and working as artists in Los Angeles.
For OPaf 2020, Niche Gallery presents Gabrielle Ferrer’s Gnomon, an installation on view outdoors and in person, at Niche Gallery's location in Glassell Park September 25–27. A related animation made by Ferrer is available for the duration of OPaf 2020, see link below to view.
